| Abstract | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal verificar a variação do albedo na região da represa de Sobradinho, localizada no Estado da Bahia, entre os anos de 1986 e 2007; e comparar essas alterações com a concentração de queimadas (1992 a 2007). Para se obter o albedo, foram utilizadas imagens do Thematic Mapper do Landsat 5 nas bandas correspondentes ao visível, infravermelho próximo e médio. Constatou-se que as alterações no albedo estão relacionadas com episódios de queimada e de mudanças no uso e ocupação da terra, assim como, na alteração da vegetação decorrentes de épocas secas. ABSTRACT: The present work has as main objective to analyze the albedo changes in the Sobradinho dam, located in Bahia State, during the 1986 and 2007 period and to compare these changes with the biomass burned (1992 to 2007). To esteem the albedo values, the Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper sensor bands in the electromagnetic region of visible, near and mid infrared were used. It was found that the changes in albedo are related to biomass burning episodes, to changes in land use and land cover, as well as the change in vegetation thought the drought episode. |
